The birthday of Lloyd Tan, son of PP Dong Tan of the Rotary Club of Kalookan Central and PP Lens of the Inner Wheel Club of Kalookan Central and Phoebe Bucay, daughter of Rotarian Perry and Inner Wheel member Jenny Bucay were jointly celebrated in an open court in Caloocan City last November 22, 2015. Five hundred (500) children from Day Care Centers and the community were treated to a series of festivities. A thanksgiving mass was held as a fitting start of the affair, followed by parlor games, magic shows, mascot entertainment and face painting. There were 50 November celebrators among the children who blew their individual birthday cakes at the same time with Lloyd and Phoebe. They were served spaghetti and chicken for lunch. They lined up for ice cream. All 500 children went home very happy with a new school bags with school supplies and a toy of their choice.
The activity was co-sponsored by Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs of Kalookan Central. National President Cecille Ferrer and District Chairman Darlyn Pelaez were some of the guests during the activity.
