IWC West CDO in partnership with the LGU of Cagayan de Oro City will donate a 1 classroom building with playground to Mother Teresa Center for Streetchildren in Maitom,, Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City. The classroom with playground will provide the children of Upper Puerto a venue conducive for learning and a happier environment which is very vital for the childrens’ growth and development.

Meanwhile, last September 28, 2018, IWC of Metro Valencia in partnership with IWCPFI represented by Pres Eden Soller, had its Groundbreaking Ceremony for 1 Transition Building to be donated to the SPED Center of Valencia City Central School in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

After the “special kids” graduate from the school room training, a transitory environment is needed to further hone their skills with the “real world” application with what they have learned in the classroom. This stage of the learning process involves a Transition Classroom that will be constructed like a regular house with a furnished bedroom, a kitchen and 2 toilets ( male and female). This will served as their learning center..With this environment, the kids will have actual knowledge on bed making, food preservation and preparation, etc. These activities are part of the K – 12 curriculum for the education of special students.
