26 February 2018, Las Pinas City – To further enhance the environmental advocacy of IWCPI-D383, a visit to the IWC Las Pinas and Environs Eco Park by IIW Pres. Kapila Gupta gave life to one of the altruism of this district, service to others and care for mother earth. In addition to developing the park, four (4) additional benches were constructed, one of which is named after our beloved IIW Pres. Dr. Kapila Gupta, were inaugurated.
Hovering around, she witnessed the collection of greenery and trees planted in partnership with other countries: Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and her very own motherland, India, during The International Tree Planting Sisterhood Project held last Nov. 18, 2017. Likewise our adherence to her quest for helping save mother nature, as expressed in her message to plant sapling as we observe the Inner Wheel Day on January 10, 2018. Towering over these cultivated botanical gardens, the Inner Wheel Lady stands witness to the pledge of Selfless Friendship in Service to “Leave a Lasting Legacy”.
